Our annual Tackle - A - Thon fundraising event will take place at our home game V Dallas Quins on March 8th 2025! This will also be our annual Alumni game so watch out for the fabulous players who have come before us! All funds raised will go to benefit the continuation of the Austin Valkyries Ruby Club. How it works 

• Select a position and pledge an amount for each tackle, try, or conversion kick that the player makes during the game.

• Other ways you can pledge and participate in the Tackle A Thon 

• Sponsor an amount for a position for a half ( vs. a whole 80 minutes)  

• Singular donation ( this can be made in a player of your choice’s honor or made by your organization) 

• Suggested pledge amounts are $1-5 per tackle or $10-20 per try or kick.

• During the match we will count the tackles, tries, and kicks made by each player. You do NOT need to attend the game, but we love having fan support and it will be a fun day of rugby so come down, check it out, and cheer on your tackler of choice!

• Before the game, we will email you to confirm your pledge amount, payment details, and payment schedule 

• After the game, we will inform you how many tackles/tries/kicks were made by your player. Then you send the amount you pledged via our squaresite.
